Who We Are

CYCLO-CLUB SAVERDUNOIS is a nonprofit sports association dedicated to the practice and promotion of cycle touring. Since our official registration in 1984, we have brought together cycling enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels around a shared passion: exploring, riding, and growing together through cycling.

As a legally registered nonprofit organization in France, we operate under the principles of transparency, democratic governance, and community service. Our club is driven by volunteers who believe that cycling is more than a sport—it is a way to build community, improve health, and promote environmentally responsible living.

We proudly promote cycling as a recreational, social, and sustainable activity that benefits individuals and society alike.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote, organize, and develop cycle touring in a safe, inclusive, and community-oriented environment.

We are committed to making cycling accessible to everyone—whether beginners discovering the joy of riding or experienced cyclists seeking longer and more challenging routes. Our mission is built upon four key pillars:

1. Accessibility

We strive to ensure that cycling is open to people of all ages and abilities. Our activities are designed to welcome newcomers while providing meaningful opportunities for experienced riders.

2. Community

Cycling is stronger when shared. We foster a spirit of camaraderie, mutual respect, and teamwork within our club. Every ride is an opportunity to strengthen social bonds.

3. Safety

We prioritize safe riding practices, promote road safety awareness, and encourage proper equipment use to protect our members and the broader community.

4. Sustainability

Cycling is one of the most environmentally friendly modes of transportation. We actively encourage eco-conscious mobility and respect for nature in all our activities.

Our mission guides every event, ride, and initiative we undertake.

Our Vision

Our vision is to become a recognized regional leader in cycle touring, known for our community impact, strong values, and commitment to healthy and sustainable lifestyles.

Looking ahead, we aim to:

  • Expand youth participation and inspire the next generation of cyclists.

  • Strengthen intergenerational connections through shared sporting experiences.

  • Promote cycling as a sustainable alternative for transportation and leisure.

  • Support local tourism by highlighting regional landscapes and heritage through cycling routes.

  • Build lasting partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community stakeholders.

We envision a future where cycling is fully integrated into everyday life—supporting physical health, environmental responsibility, and social cohesion.
